Google: No Country Redirect

Google search tip:

Have you every been to China and tried to search for something on Google.com.  Why do you get different results?  I live in Australia and have wondered the same thing.  

To avoid getting redirected by Google just type in "ncr", it stands for "no country redirect" after the URL (e.g. http://www.google.com/ncr). 

If I was in the States and wanted to view what people in Australia see when they do a search I would type http://www.google.com.au/ncr.  Of course I wouldn't do that as I would get censored results.  I use http://www.google.com/ncr in Australia to get uncensored search results.  Happy Googling!
